Water Softeners

Water softener installation in Berks, Lancaster & Chester counties

Much of southeastern Pennsylvania sits on limestone, which adds calcium and magnesium to water. A water softener removes those minerals, so you can say goodbye to crusty faucets, spotty dishes and scale building up inside your water heater.

Our softener installs

Hardness tested first. We measure your water's hardness so the softener is sized and set correctly for your home.

Right-sized for your household. We match capacity to your family's water use so it regenerates efficiently.

Paired when needed. If you also have iron or chlorine concerns, we'll recommend the right filtration to go with it.

Signs you have hard water

Scale on fixtures. White crust on faucets, showerheads and glass shower doors.

Spots and film. Spotty dishes and glasses, and soap that won't lather well.

Appliance buildup. Scale inside water heaters, dishwashers and coffee makers shortens their life.

Simple from start to finish

How it works

1

Get your free online estimate

Enter your address for a free water report in seconds. It's an estimate based on your water company's records or on wells near you, not a test of your own water.

2

We test your actual water

On a well, we test your water for free before we recommend a build, because two wells on the same road can be very different. On city water, a test is optional.

3

Get a clear price

Every system starts from a base package at a set price. On a well, add-ons are included only if your test calls for them. City water is usually a simple quote by phone.

4

Installation and ongoing care

We install your system cleanly, show you how it works, and let you know when filters and service are due.

Good questions

Water Softeners: common questions

Do softeners add salt to my water?

Salt-based softeners add a small amount of sodium. If that's a concern, a reverse osmosis system at the kitchen sink removes it from your drinking water.

How often do I add salt?

It depends on your hardness and water use. We'll show you what to watch for, and we can handle it for you.

Do I need a softener and a filter?

Often, yes. Softeners treat hardness; filters treat things like chlorine and iron. Your water test tells us what you need.
